Journey to the Underworld with Hades author Jamie Waggoner.


Beginning in August 2025, you're invited to participate in a guided Hades book study with Jamie Waggoner, author of Hades: Myth, Magic and Modern Devotion. 


Jamie is a Pagan priestess, holistic death care guide, writer, and witch. She's been a devotee of the Greek god Hades since 2016. During a series of live Zoom sessions, Jamie will break her book down chapter-by-chapter, guiding you through the material and exercises, while also sharing behind-the-scenes insights from her personal practice and experiences while writing the book. 

The River Styx Book Club includes:

To make this program sustainable and accessible, there is a sliding scale to help fit tuition costs into your budget. Read the descriptions below to decide which ticket level is right for you. There is also a reparations rate available for BIPOC participants. Please pay higher on the sliding scale if you are able – this is what allows me to offer discounted spots to those who need them.

    Purchase a book elsewhere? Jamie is happy to sign a bookplate for you. Bookplates are labels that can be added to the inside of your book. Jamie's distinctive, elegant author bookplates were custom designed and letterpress printed on a vintage Heidelberg windmill press by Bookplate Ink. Individual bookplate size is 3" wide by 4" high. Printed on cream-colored, matte self-adhesive paper with a peel-off backing. The paper, adhesive, and ink are archival quality and acid-free. Box not included.
