Way of the Weaver is a unique program of magical study and community building. We embrace adults of all backgrounds and genders who are ready to learn a powerful skill set for spiritual transformation and growth.
Our trainings are rooted in the values of service, inclusive community, critical analysis of the oppressions that bewitch our society (capitalism, colonialism, racism, etc.), and deep respect for ancestral spiritual traditions from around the world.
What is a Weaver? A Weaver is one who is wise in the ways of mending that which is torn, calling forth that which feeds our growth, and creating and holding space for transformation. Depending on tradition, those who walk the path of the Weaver are sometimes called priestess, priest, or priestx, or perhaps witch, wiseone, or shaper.
We believe that you are your own spiritual authority, and that by learning ritual skills and sacred technologies together in a space with clear boundaries and ethics, we can build our capacity and tap into our collective power for change. Way of the Weaver dismisses secrecy and exclusion. This is an open-source skill set with which to develop and/or deepen your own practice based on your background, callings, and ancestry.
Spider Threads is our core hybrid online and in-person program that takes place over several months. We offer ethical rigor, a commitment to continual learning, a culture of celebrating each participant’s unique spirit and authentic strengths, and a queer context for our magic.
We meet in person for three long weekends in Central Vermont in June, September, and November (the June immersion weekend coincides with Weaver Camp and includes one extra day for our Spider Threads cohort). We also have fun and interactive learning sessions hosted via Zoom once a month. These 2-hour sessions feature plenty of breakout discussions and experiential group activities.
Your Spider Threads tuition includes:
✅ Instruction from Jamie and Murphy at three in-person immersion weekends in Vermont (one of which overlaps with Weaver Camp), and four evening online remote learning sessions.
✅ Delicious hot meals at the in-person weekends (the opening dinner is potluck, the rest of the meals thru Sunday breakfast are catered), with menus designed to meet most common dietary needs if they are present in our group (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.). Coffee and tea are available daily.
✅ Supplies and handouts for our in-person weekends.
✅ Camping space in the forest at our Immersion weekends, bring your own tent and sleeping bag. If you need to borrow camping gear, we may be able to help you out. A couple of accessible campsites are available at the site, including one where you can plug in a CPAP. These weekends are held on private forested land by a lovely mountain brook in Worcester, VT (bring your swimsuit!).
✅ Warm “sleepover” style sleeping for our November Immersion Weekend. Exact Venue TBA, but plan to bring a sleeping pad, pillow, and bedding to sleep on the floor in a heated space.
✅ Supplemental reading materials and recordings of our online learning sessions.
✅ Access to our private Spider Threads group on Signal (an encrypted messaging app) to chat, ask questions, share experiences, and get to know your fellow Weavers.

Your program tuition must be paid in full by October 1, 2025 (regardless of whether you miss any sessions).
Please note that upon enrolling, you are agreeing to pay the entire cost of the program, regardless of your ability to attend each weekend and/or Zoom session.
